Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya, who is always surrounded with controversies due to his unwanted stances, has been accused by a woman for se***lly harassing her during Durga puja celebrations.
Yes, Abhijeet once again runs down with a controversy and is currently making headlines as 34-year-old woman has filed a police complaint against the singer where she has stated that Abhijeet inappropriately touched her during a concert of singer Kailash Kher. The singer has been booked under IPC sections of 354 (a) (se***l harassment), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and 34. The investigation regarding the same is being carried out currently.
According to the reports, the incident took place at 10 pm on Wednesday, October 21, at Lokhandwala Durga Puja celebration. Abhijeet Bhattacharya who was one of the organizers of the event, was also present there. Oshiwara police station’s senior inspector Subhash Khanvilkar told PTI, “While the programme was going on, a woman stood up in between (the rows of the audience) that blocked the view of stage for the people sitting behind. People started shouting at her and when she did not listen, Abhijeet himself made her sit down.”

Abhijeet Bhattacharya also took to his twitter handle today to defend himself on the entire incident. He responded on a comment by Censor Board member Ashok Pandit.
Also, according to Abhijeet’s friend, the lady had a huge argument when she was stopped from blocking the ways of other audiences to watch. Later she was escorted out of the venue by security guards and went to the police station and filed a complaint of molestation.
