Mumbai: After the hype and hoopla created by Phoonk’s Rs 500,000 contest that challenged viewers to sit through the entire movie without getting scared, producers One More Thought Entertainment are at this strategy again. This time it is for their upcoming flick Khallballi and the amount has been doubled to Rs 1 million (Rs 10 lakhs).
The production company has announced a cash prize of Rs 1 million for any person who is able to watch Khallballi – Fun Unlimited with a straight face.
The film stars Nikhil Dwivedi, Sada and brings on screen mostly all comedians of Bollywood — Asrani, Johnny Lever, Shakti Kapoor, Govind Namji, Paresh Ganatra, Tikku, and Javed Jaffri along with many other comedians who have come together for a film for the first time.
During the Phoonk screening the contest rules and regulations did not allow anyone to get their hands on the Rs 500,000 award. Let’s wait and watch whether anybody gets to take home Rs 1 million this time around.
The movie hits the screens on 28 November.
